Black salt

I found it on the bottom of my magic box, totally forgot I have it.
So, how can I use it?
Well, I think major use is for protection from negative energy, just sprinkle i talong your windows frame and doorsteps. and banishing. It is also used in banishing, binding rituals or to quiet bothersome neighbours.

Magically used to remove negative energies from items or places. Often used to remove hexes and other harmful or negative energies.

Cleanse your magical tools in a bath of black salt and water and then wash them in a bath of sea salt to purify the items and allow only positive energies.

Taurus and Sagittarius

Taurus (Fixed Earth) - Sagittarius (Mutable Fire)

This pair has a reputation for hot sexual chemisty, but runs into snags when it comes to longterm romance. Unless other planets bring balance, these two are just temperamentally too different. At the heady beginning of the affair, the settled sensual nature of the Bull may be intriguing to the experimental Sagittarius.

Sadge inspires Taurus, and introduces them to exotic cuisines and all things cultural. But even while dating, they'll likely find that Taurus prefers home-bound pleasures, while Sadge wants to be out and about. They find bliss in the bedroom, but elsewhere have some real hurdles to overcome.

Further into a relationship, the restless Sadge finds the Taurean focus too fixed, and start to consider the Bull slothful and a bit of a dullard. The explosive, adventure-seeking Sagittarian nature sets off alarms for the more cautious, productivity-minded Taurus. Taurus may think Sadge too scattered and careless. The last straw comes when Sadge bluntly tells the Bull what's wrong with their way of doing things.

Once Taurus finds his natural rhythm under attack, the Bull stubbornly stomps in place a few times, and heads out the door. But if Taurus and Sadge have their eyes open, and know the danger signs, their differences could make this an interesting blend.

Flood

The other night I was dreaming about the flood.
I was sightseeing in unknow city suburbs, taking photos with my Nikon, when suddenly the silver or dark grey water started filling streets and all small narrow alleys. It was moving very fast, with a lots of delicate whirpools here and there.
I ran for higher ground. I reached it. I looked around and I could see everything around me flooded with silver or dark grey water. Then this water satrted to reach the high ground I was standing on, now that was very very scary, especially the thoughts that there is nowhere to run. I could see the water rising and my feet in trainers disapearing under. In the last attempt I tried to run somewhere to safe myself....... and I woke up...

***

Apparently it represents the need to release some sexual desires. If the flood is raging, then it represents emotional issues and tension. the repressed emotions are overwhelming you. Alternatively, the dream may indicate that you are the one who is overwhelming others with your demands and strong opinion.

Mabon

Autumn is almost here. Days are slowly getting shorter, nights embrace us longer.
Fall Equinox is a season that hangs somewhere "between the worlds". It is neither day nor night, neither light nor dark. This celebration, because lies between two extremes, is highly spirit active. It is a tide of reat magical power that centers on the mysteries of the final harvest.

I made two corn husk dollies (for me and my Witch Sis) and decorated my altar with autumn leaves I gathered in the park, corn and chestnuts.

Card for today - The Judgement

My thoughts - rebirth & resurrection. We need to bear the consequensces of our decisions and actions. Each action gives reaction - 3rd law of Netwon's laws of motion. Things coming back to haunt us. Revisiting and taking resposibility for your actions (both past & present). Forgiveness. Facing consequences. Learning from experience.
We tend to pigeonhole people but we should not judge the situation lightly and we need to analyze before issuing opinions. Many things can be hidden.

There are wounds from the past that we never let heal, sins we've committed that we refuse to forgive, bad habits we haven't the courage to lose. Judgement advises us to finally face these, recognize that the past is past, and put them to rest, absolutely and irrevocably. It deals with very hard and final decisions. It means facing something that most of us don't want to face.

This is not about Death, something ending whether you want it to or not, this is about deciding to make a change, to stop doing something that isn't working and do something that will work. Which means that it's really a card about courage, and about recognizing that you're holding onto something that needs to be let go.
"You can't hide any longer," this card says, "all the coffins have opened, and all that you thought was buried is out in the open. Face what you have to face and lay it to rest so that you can move on. Make that decision. Change."

It's astrological association is Pluto - God of the Underworld, is the ruler of Scorpio. In Astrology, the energies of Pluto are transforming. Pluto represents subconscious forces, ruling all that is "below the surface".
Pluto is associated with renewal and rebirth. It represents endings and new beginnings, as well as spiritual growth and rebirth. Negative expression of Pluto is an obsessive desire for power and control and general destructiveness.

Tarot A Card Per Day - The Fool

With little bit of encouragement I decided to start working with my tarot cards again.
Megan Limitless Living (a very experienced Tarot reader) draws one card per day and finds its meaning.
I decided to follow this path to learn the meaning of each card, the symbolism and make my intuition more sensitive. Each day I'm going to draw a card from my Tarot deck, write down in the diary first thoughts of what this card means, and then see what book is saying about a particular card.

For every Tarot newbie this is a very good reading to start with What Every Newbie Tarot Reader Should Know

***
Today card - The Fool
My first thoughts - this is the first card of major arcana, the beginning, new start; we give the impression of recklessness, being irresponsible and without obligation, but in life subconsciously, we know what to do, we take responsibility for our actions and we are serious about things that concern us.

The book says - starting sth new, learning by experience, taking risks, childlike innocence, potential.
We are back at zero, whether that be in romantic affairs, or career, work or intellectual pursuits. Far from being sad or frustrated by having to start over, we feel remarkably *free*, light hearted and refreshed, as if being given a second chance. We feel young and energized, as excited as a child who has discovered a new toyshop. Who knows what we will find on the shelves?

In addition, we likely have no idea where we're going or what we're going to do. But that doesn't matter. For the Fool, the most important thing is to just go out and enjoy the world. To see what there is to see and delight in all of it.
Unfortunately, this childlike state can make one overly optimistic or naive. A Fool can be a Fool. That business opportunity might not be so surefire or amazing as it seems, and that new lover might not be so flawless.
Like the Fool, you might be so busy sightseeing and imagining the possibilities that you completely miss the fact that you're about to go right off a cliff! However exciting new beginnings may be, you still have to watch your step.

Astrological association: Uranus.

I'm not good in astrology (any insights are welcome) but apparently Uranus is known as the "Awakener," since its aspects and transits bring sudden changes and shocks. It rules Aquarius, the quirky innovator, and sometimes these upheavals are a necessary break from restrictions in favor of a more liberated path.
Uranus plays an important role as the provocateur, the bringer of the cosmic wake-up call for both individuals and the collective as a whole. Just when we relax into our comfortable, stable lives, Uranus disrupts the scene. It can be through an event that happens to us, or self-initiated acts spurned on by a desire for change.

New place

I moved house, well actually I moved flat, well to be precise I exchanged room for flat.
My witch Sister Maelen with her son moved from Ireland to Edinburgh. We had a long but great trip Edi-Dub-Edi to get her stuff into van and drive it across Irish Sea to Scotland. Many thanks to our great driver Dave :)
So we moved in together to a nice flat, still in the city centre. We are almost unpacked. The kitchen and bathroom is fully operative as is the phone line and internet yay! :)

Going Slytherin ;)

A while ago friend of mine introduced me to spirulina, an algae, in its dry powdered state.
Reading pros and cons it looks interesting. So I decided to try it.
Today I bought first 100g of dark green powder, added a teaspoon to glass of water, mixed it and drank it.
Well, it definetly does not taste like hot chocolate or red wine ;]
Next time I'm going to try it with smoothie or veggie/ fruit juice.

Spirulina is a nutrient rich blue-green algae packed with proteins, vitamins and minerals. This organic powder contains important amino acids including lysine, cysteine, methionine, phenylalanine and threonine. It has a high iron content (more than spinach) and contains more beta-carotene than carrots. Spirulina is also a very rich source of Vitamin B-12.
As a food Spirulina has been consumed in various forms over centuries in different parts of the world. Its protein constituent is in an easily digested form. It also contains minerals, vitamins, essential fatty acids and antioxidants that are not available to humans from any single food of vegetable or animal source known so far.

I keep going green.
I'm faithful to Slytherin ;]
